April is IBS Awareness Month
IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is a disorder in which a person experiences chronic, recurrent bowel problems and abdominal pain. If IBS is not managed, this disorder can be disruptive to all aspects of a persons life, affecting a person physically and emotionally.
Research has shown that acupuncture treatment may benefit IBS in a number of ways. For information please see the The British Acupuncture Council’s fact sheet.
If IBS is affecting your life and you are interested in how acupuncture can help, please give me a call to find out more.
